Youth development and regional peace

SAYC 2012

SAYC 2012 is a platform uniting the youth of South Asian region and creates a space for dialogue and understanding so as to be able to work together, towards a Mutually Beneficial Future. CSRP hosted the 2nd South Asian Youth Conference in Islamabad. 120 future leaders of south Asia came to Pakistan and took part in this conference. This conference ended on the 6th day.


Film making for social change workshops

Film making workshops is an initiative by Hila (Now CSRP). Hila in collaboration with Media Voice conducted a series of film making workshops in the province of Balochistan for the very first time in 2010.  Youngsters were taught how film making can be used as a tool for social change. Screenings of some short films were also the part of this workshop.

Prayer for Peace Pakistan at Parliament house

CSRP organized an event in collaboration with the parliamentarians. We prayed for peace in Pakistan outside the parliament. All the parliamentarians were gathered in one place. They all had differences with each other in parliament but outside the parliament they all stood for one thing i.e Peace. This event also promoted interfaith harmony.



7th Indus Youth Conference

7th Indus Youth Conference was held in Khairpur, Sindh. Role of young people in development and policy were discussed in this conference by CSRP. 250 young people were engaged in different sessions and workshops covering areas like Rural youth development and many other areas.


Education and Literacy

Lets spread Love and Joy

CSRP spent 14th February with the children of Mashal Model School. We experienced pure form of joy. Kids made cards and gifts on the themes of love, joy and peace. The artwork was exhibited at the end. Some of other activities included, face painting, games etc.

Lighting the way for education

CSRP supported NCHD in organizing a walk to mark International Literacy Day. After the walk CSRP team visited Master Ayub’s School. 120 students were given books, copies and stationary. We are thankful to our volunteers who helped us and made this event a success.


Sessions on importance of Volunteerism

CSRP organizes different sessions on importance of Volunteering – the sense of carrying out tasks or providing services for individuals or community organizations without financial recompense is generally considered an altruistic activity, intended to promote good or improve human quality of life.

International Volunteer Day

5th December is celebrated as International Volunteer Day. We celebrated this day at CSRP by organizing a session. In this session we discussed the importance of this day and how to give something back to the community.
